Our Client

Japan-based subsidiary of a big pharma company focused on Person-Centered Care using digital technology.

The Challenge

The connection or dialogue between patients with dementia, their families, and

medical workers is important for the realization of patient-centered care and

improvement in the quality of life for the patient. The customer wanted to assess if Artificial Intelligence could aid in strengthening this triad. The customer had

conceptualized a platform that allows people with Dementia to see and hear fragments of their own memories. Sharing these fragments with the triad helps create better connections. An important piece of the puzzle was to measure patient’s response to the

digitized memories through their facial expressions.
